You may need to wash the windows thoroughly first with warm soapy water to remove any grime. Once the excess dirt is gone, you can use the same steps you used above on the outside of the windows.
Window Frames
A solution of washing up liquid and warm water is perfect for cleaning PVC or painted wooden window frames, both inside and outside your home. If your interior frames are marked with animal paw prints or sticky children’s fingerprints, try adding a little vinegar to the water as this will help you to shift the grease.

Instead, use a step ladder and make sure it is on a flat surface. Similarly, do not place the stepladder on soft or uneven ground when cleaning the windows outside.
